Voters are waiting about two hours at James Island Charter High School (precincts James Island 5A/5B/6/7/10). The line is moving steadily and no rain so far.
Some people brought chairs. More than a few have babies with them in strollers. The crowd has been good-natured about the wait, though some say they've never seen anything like it.
voting at Fort Dorchester High School is taking about 4 hours--at last count, only 5 of the 9 polling machines were functional
