Post and Courier reporter David Slade spent much of Tuesday talking to Lowcountry voters who spent four hours or more in line waiting to vote. Then it was his turn. He proceeded to his Mount Pleasant 25 polling place and was shocked.
"I wasn't here five minutes," he said. "There were only three people ahead of me and none of them were in my group, so there literally wasn't a line." "I feel guilty," he added. "There's something wrong with this system, though I benefited from it."
